lately has been watching lots of korean drama...
shorter than HK longer than jap...

just finished watching these two...



ON AIR

said to be the highest viewed drama in korea in 2008...
revolves the story on a scriptwriter, newbie director, past-famed manager and famous advert celebrity...
on how they overcome lots of obstacles to filmed a genre of drama which nobody has tried to film before...
and how they find love to each other...
how this drama manage to keep me watching... the story plot is great and alluring at the end of each episodes...



The Last Scandal

this drama hooked me by its genre too...
about the 39 year old aunty met her first love by fate and eventually discovered that her first love is how the superstar of korea, who proclaimed that he is only 32 years old (shld be same age as her)...
how they lived tgt under a roof, how the superstar helped her to get over her divorce, discovered the biggest secret of himself, tided over the media's misconceptions, and eventually married the first loves of their lives in the most fairytale way...

btw, the female cast (the aunty) has already passed away in 2008... so there will be no more 2nd season as scheduled...

and tada!
the drama that im watching now...
that many many has known abt this drama before, it was once the biggest sensation in both taiwan and japan...

HANA YORI DANGO!



in korean version this time. of coz!

and the long-anticipated cast for F4, which didnt disappoint me:



being the leftmost guy is 道明司...
second left is 花泽类...
second right is 西门...
rightmost is 美作...

initially could really differentiate between 西门 and 美作...
but viewers will be more concerned on 司 and 类...

and the gal acting shan cai will be the gal who acted in 19岁的清纯 as liang ju hua...

comparisons of coz...
among tw, jap and korea...
i still think that tw's is the most lousy...
actress too old... the 4 actors not shuai too... coz looked too old... not like 18 at all...
and i hate the TW's F4 de hairstyle... long and straight like gay... zzz...

for jap... they have the best shan cai...
and the best soundtracks too...
but the F4, other than huazhelei, the other 3 is v disappointing esp in looks...

as for korea... they have the most charming F4!
but their acting skills is still lacking, especially for huazhelei...
as for korea's shan cai, although she is not as gd as japan's, her acting is better than the other two...
and she didnt spot the same long straight hair like jap and tw's... but instead a short shoulder length bob...

till now of 4 episodes being aired..
korea's version has been changed in several details...
shan cai's signature hairstyle has been changed into shorter bob...
shan cai's family run a laundry shop...
shan cai's entry into the sch is not as original (original is that her parents save and scrimp for her sch fees, but the korea version is that she had saved a boy from committing suicide and was granted full scholarship)...
and korea's shan cai is a swimming fanatic who dreamed of being a olympics swimmer...

while other changes includes huazhelei's background, from a national bank's little boss to a korean's president's grandchild...



thus, i will be chewing on more dramas from now til i had to chew on books again!
